What the Soul is up to.. #Spirituality #OpenDiscussion #RhythmNPoetry

What is the Soul up to?

Initially, this started out as a question I asked myself first, then I asked God. God replied, “What do you believe the soul is up to?” to which I replied; “I bet the soul is a mini version of you” God said nothing else after that. Knowing her the way I know her, she said nothing by design. She’s efficient in that regard. Everything has a purpose, everything effects everything else on a grand scale. So I decided to dig into this question further starting with a google search. To my surprise, not many bloggers, scientist or pastors were much interested with “What the soul was up to” They were interested in a laundry list of other things that I had not given much thought in regards to the human soul.

Like;
How much does the soul weigh?
How large is the soul?
When does the soul enter the body?
Shouldn’t we say “Life” instead of “Soul” since the word “Soul” has been corrupted? & on & on & on… My look will be a bit more abstract..

I look at the splashes of magnificence on this planet like the acrylic painted patterns of a butterfly’s wings and cannot help to believe that the soul itself is not concerned with its own weight, size, or what people believe about its nature.

To me.. any soul created by God must move like God moves… With us all in agreement that she certainly moves in mysterious ways..

The most interesting things I found in regards to finding out what the soul was up to on the web were these questions:

Where in your life have you deadened your uniqueness?
Where in your life have you domesticated your wildness?
Where in your life have you stopped speaking with your authenticity?
Where in your life have you been tolerating too much dullness?
Where in your life have you been withdrawing from being fully yourself?
What truly brings your soul alive?
Where does life seem to be asking you to step closer to it?
What might life want to express through you and your soul?
What are you and your soul prepared to let go of?
What is the old story of your life?
What is the new story of your life, the one that’s starting to unfold now, the one that feels most alive and vital?
What needs to happen within you for people to be able to connect with your gifts and talents so you can do more of what you love?

Apparently.. asking yourself (or your soul) theses questions will lead you to an answer..

The Following was taken from “A Conversation with God” apparently from the God herself..

Your soul doesn’t care what you do for a living—and when your life is over, neither will you. Your soul cares only about what you’re being while you’re doing whatever you’re doing. It is a state of beingness the soul is after, not a state of doingness. What is the soul seeking to be? Me. You. Yes, Me. Your soul is Me, and it knows it. What it is doing, is trying to experience that. And what it is remembering is that the best way to have this experience is by not doing anything. There is nothing to do but to be. Be what? Whatever you want to be. Happy. Sad. Weak. Strong. Joyful. Vengeful. Insightful. Blind. Good. Bad. Male. Female. You name it. I mean that literally. You name it.
So in conclusion, I found that the soul is very similar to a son attempting to be every bit as great as the infinite, glorious memories of his father. Or better yet a daughter emulating every beautifully intriguing facet of her mother.
The soul, created by that which we call God, is itself a child of God and one with God, sent to this dimension made by God, to explore every infinite aspect of God, in a time, space reality designed for an infinite amount of souls to experience one aspect at a time

  1. Thank you for sharing this. It was a riveting conversation at #RhythmNPoetry. It was food for thought, well-timed for this health journey I’ve been on for the last quarter of two decades. I’m alive and awake, enlightened and sparked by every experience and vibration around me as if my inner child is dancing with glee that she has been here…waiting to be discovered and appreciated. Thank you for expanding my YUM (Yes to U and Me)!
