The Instigator

I am the instigator
Here to challenge everything I identify as a lie
These lies try to define you even though they did
not create you
Like the media telling you undernourished and
whorish is an ideal look for women
We should be insulted because we know better
I am the instigator
Here to challenge every spirit in line with mine to
unify
These spirits examine their design and report what
they know to be true
Like love is the obvious answer to all questions
from the blind of heart
God should be consulted when we need to know
better
I am the instigator
Here to challenge the notion that black is worthless
and that it must die
These hairs of wool, this skin of bronze, original
man, respect due
They try to tell us through imagery we are
incapable of loving each other
We should have revolted because we knew better
I am the instigator
here to challenge the notion that the written word
has somehow become disposable
These words may provoke your thought and that’s
all we’re here to do
They suggest that critical thinkers are rebellious
trouble makers
We should be assaulted with the frequencies of
better
I am the instigator
